Deadwall press shoot

I was invited along to shoot the latest press shots for Bradford guitar-dream-pop outfit Deadwall for their forthcoming release.

The shoot was arranged fairly last minute, so we didn't have much time to sort a dedicated venue. We arranged to meet early on a Sunday morning at their practice room (Factory Street) to shoot a couple of different set ups.

It was awfully nostalgic heading back to Factory Street. I'd shot my first promo shoot there with White Light Parade many many years ago, and the guys there also supported me with my first exhibition in Bradford. It was weird walking round the place and seeing my old photos on the wall.

We tried a couple of setups in the time that we had, to give the guys a little variety for their press pack. They didn't strike me as the type of band that were after an overly elaborate shoot, so we stuck to a classic lineup with a single light, both indoors and outdoors.

Cheers to Chris, Tom, Tom and Dom, and also the guys at Hatch records x

Deadwall's second album 'The Zero Cliff' is out now. Why not head over to Facebook and give them some love?
