On tour with Cleopatrick

If you've not heard of Cleopatrick yet, you have my deepest sympathies. Luke and Ian were back in the UK to make their festival debuts on a short date tour, marking an incredible 12 months that's also seen them complete their first two European tours.

I met the guys at 2000 Trees festival in Cheltenham, where they were due to play on the Main Stage, before heading to London where the guys were due to play at Citadel Festival in Gunnersbury Park. Then, after a show in Milton Keynes and a day off, I met up with the guys again in Huddersfield at The Parish, before the guys flew back to Montreal.

It was great to see the guys play on a larger stage. Having seen these guys progress from 120 capacity shows, having seen how passionate, professional and excited they have been playing shows in the UK, the opportunity to play on larger stages to larger crowds is the least they deserve.

I had a blast spending some time with the guys - as well as Jake (TM) and Craig (driver/"Tour Dad") - again. Fingers crossed they'll be back in the UK again real soon...
