Howl Photoshoot

Howl had been lingering at the top of my "must shoot" list for quite some time, as the latest in a cluster of really great bands to be making big noises out of Bradford. Having enjoyed a degree of success under their previous moniker of NGOD, which saw them briefly sign to a major and have a track Blue featured on the FIFA 17 video game, the guys were back with a new name and a new lineup.

I met up with the guys in the Hyde Park area of Leeds to shoot a couple of snaps for a Counterfeit feature. The guys weren't big into posing, so we opted for some more candid style shoots, using just natural light. We spent a good hour wandering around backstreets and parks until the natural feel started to tire, then headed back.

Was cool to finally pin down some time with the guys, chatting about the state of the music scene in Leeds and Bradford, living and working in Leeds, and the journey they've been on so far as a band. I'll certainly be keeping an eye on them in the future.
